Elwill Louw is a seasoned cybersecurity, risk and AI governance leader, recognised for driving strategic innovation and resilience across enterprise environments. As CEO and Founder of The Techdude, Elwill brings over a decade of hands-on experience in securing digital ecosystems, crafting governance frameworks, and aligning technology risk management with business goals.

With deep expertise in AI Risk Management, Elwill specialises in developing and implementing AI governance frameworks, mitigating algorithmic bias, and ensuring compliance with emerging global standards. He is currently pursuing ISO/IEC 42001 certification for AI Governance, further reinforcing his commitment to ethical and secure AI deployment.

In his role as a trusted Information Security Officer, Elwill has led enterprise security architecture design, implemented Zero Trust models, and orchestrated advanced threat intelligence initiatives to combat persistent cyber threats. His strategic leadership in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and regulatory compliance (including DORA/NIS2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) has positioned him as a key advisor to businesses navigating complex risk and compliance landscapes.

Proven track record of preparing employees to produce quality work across a variety of fields and received excellent ratings from clients.

He has successfully delivered various IT Certifications training including Fortinet Network Security Professional, CEHv10, CHF1v9, CSU, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst, CompTIA Pentest, CompTIA A+, N+, Cloud+, Linux+ and Microsoft Office.

He has also successfully delivered corporate training to clients in Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Our manager holds BSc. Degree in Cyber Security. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), LPIC Linux Engineer, a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Hacking Forensics Investigator, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) and ITIL Practitioner among other relevant cyber security qualifications.

He has over 5 years of IT Security experience working on projects in 6 different countries in Africa and International: USA, South Africa, Angola, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. In the process he has gained experience in training, performing network security infrastructure reviews, attack & penetration testing, technology configuration reviews, information systems review, network architecture design review, web application testing, application controls review, IT security policy review and benchmarking working with various companies in different industries.
